Most consent doesn't work like this in people's minds (never mind what you "recorded"). I'd be furious and immediately flag as spam and review the app 1 star (if possible) for good measure.
I've also noticed that iNaturalist also fuzzes exact locations for some species within a geographic grid (example: zebra) even the ranch zebra in California.
A lot of y'all treat customers like shit - spam them, engage in dark patterns, constantly try to upsell, ask them to fill out surveys before they've completed a single purchase - then act surprised when businesses have to lay off or go under.
Another interesting question is what part of the 60% want extreme poverty to exist for one reason or another? Probably the same portion as of the 40%, just the reasons differ.
The whole "this tool is too dangerous to be public" idea reeks of marketing. Just like all the "AI is an existential threat" talk a year ago. These companies are using ideas usually reserved for something like nuclear weapons to make their products look more impressive.

This is a few years old, but at one point Apple was happy to bypass VPN or firewall settings to allow their own apps to communicate[1]. I don't know if this is still true on Tahoe, but I wouldn't be surprised if at least the mechanism still exists. So "they run fine", but they may not do what you expect them to do when it comes to Apple's products/services.
The tower catches are great, but the payload rating has been reduced several times now[1] and with it the economic argument for how Starship will make launching much cheaper than today as well as suitability for lunar/Mars launches. For Starship to be revolutionary enough for this kind of valuation it has to not just work, but outperform current solutions.
SpaceX has basically admitted as much by promising Starship 2 & 3 with larger payloads (that Starship 1 was already supposed to deliver).
That article is two years old. In traditional space launch terms that is a very short amount of time, but in SpaceX terms that's quite a while. They've already progressed to Starship 2 since then and are going to launch Starship 3 imminently (slated this month), which has Raptor v3 engines onboard and come with the efficiency gains you are talking about.
