It's all fun and games until it affects one's bottom line. Similarly to AI, only now are progressives in the position of being the naysayers because it affects them directly. Everyone has their agenda (and that's okay to a point), but the moral posturing about these types of issues is sickening.
I still cannot make AI do anything with quality higher than the function level. I've been using it a lot to write some more complex functions and SQL with a quality level that I find good, but anything higher order and it's a complete clusterfuck. Cannot comprehend this world where people say they are building entire companies and whole products with it.
I blame news media, social media, and entertainment for this. You aren't some heroic resistance fighting fascism; you're a citizen not complying with police orders. The real world isn't a Netflix series.
Found Hugo templating to be unnecessarily hard and confusing. After toying with Python using string.replace and Pandoc, I finally settled for Eleventy with Nunjucks.
What's the actual factual accusation here? That monied interests converge on the ruling power? How is this different when the 'opposition' is in control?
As conditions for the middle class continue to deteriorate, isn't it normal that companies that depend on middle class purchasing power try to adjust government buttons and levers to assure their continuation and position in the market?
The 'holier than thou' is showing.
