I swear, I am starting to feel like these complaints about how "obviously" something is AI written are the human equivalent of "you are absolutely right" -- it's like some kind of automatic response now
I don't know how to explain it, but I've interacted with LLMs for multiple years now, and especially a lot of time with the recent-ish frontier models, so I can detect most AI writing quite reliably. Sure, you might disagree, but I'm fairly certain this entire post is an LLM output.
I used to work on a CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework) integration for an in-house multimedia platform that was kind of like a game engine with distributed real-time rendering. We used https://html5zombo.com routinely to smoke-test: the animation and audio together made it easy to tell when machines were getting out of sync, or when we weren't pushing frames fast enough, or when the audio was broken (as pulseaudio and CEF version updates would often do). Good times.
Yeah and some of the things I've seen getting nowwhere in new or showhn ... I know it's not quite random, but luck is such a big factor as to what makes it onto the front page of HN
