Permanent.

I think I managed to crash it about ten times last sunday, doing nothing but browsing the web on a VM.

I can't remember the last time I crashed VirtualBox, browsing or not. Even with older 64-bit Flash. Only issue I recall is some snapshot breakage a while back.

Yay anecdotes.

Seconded. It's never crashed for me, I love it.

I had a lot of instability until I upgraded to a newer vm kernel.

I was on 2.6.38 fedora 64bit vm and it would crash once a day

now I am on 2.6.40 and it has been stable for 50 days

Thank you!

Lens is a TCL/TK based network simulator that is used in the field of computational neuroscience. This is our port to the modern OSX platform. This port is "as is". This means that any issues that present in the original Lens, might be present in the port too.

I added some screenshots too :-)

I still find it intriguing that Francis Collins, who in 1993 replaced James D. Watson as head of the National Center for Human Genome Research at the National Institutes of Health, is a religious person [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Collins_(geneticist)#Re...]

I'm not judging anyone here, I'm just saying I find it striking, and slightly unimaginable.

Collins has written a book called "The Language of God" (referring to DNA) in which he explains how he reconciles his beliefs with his scientific understanding.

In it, he tells his own story and explains why he thinks Christians should accept evolution and why scientists should not be hostile to faith.

Here's one a friend and I did in Prolog last year:

https://github.com/danieldk/brainfuck-pl

Why? Because it can be done. And actually prolog's tracing mechanism makes debugging brainfuck code quite insightful.

I coded one in Pharo Smalltalk last year: http://www.squeaksource.com/BrainFuck.html It's so slow it's almost hilarious. It took it 8 hours to print an ASCII mandlebrot fractal frame, NO KIDDING.

Ashton who?

I used to use Menlo, now trying Consolas.

I tried Consolas on a Mac but it wasn't aligning right. :(
