This looks a lot more comfortable than wearing a QR code on my head. Is there expected to be a lot of accuracy difference between a TrueDepth cam and a regular cam?

I’m not sure I understand the argument. A mass of angry people who have their basic needs met seems a good force for confronting exploitation. The Yang campaign specifically is the one very vocally calling out for capturing the fruits of automation to share.

I don’t know what things are like in Nordic countries but I feel there’s tons of things that need to be done in the USA. Perhaps things like time banking for giving credit for all the tasks a community needs would be nice? https://www.yang2020.com/policies/modern-time-banking/

Not only is that an enlightened policy, I love the way it's presented. If all candidates were forced to clearly define their policies in that form, in writing, instead of the current spoken debate theatre we use, perhaps we could get out of this negative feedback loop we're in.

I think that boat sailed a long time ago :D

Technically, you can walk into the Standard Store on Market and just shop without an app, and then pay at the kiosk

Totally agree with you about React Native being easier for me anyway. I would love if accessibility was more built in. The original author submitted a PR for a basic bit of integration that looks fine but is being blocked from merging by a lint thing.

I’m using React Native for a lot of projects these days so this is pretty worrying. Seems like there’s a lot that react-navigation could be doing.

I think the idea is that instead of being tied to a cash register, former checkout people would be able to get to know their community better by being free to go anywhere in the store. The Apple Store experience comes to mind for me.

This comment seems hilarious to someone who grew up with 486s that did those things fine. However, I’m inclined to agree that i would find this machine challenging to use as my daily thing.

My Lifebook p7010 has a 1.2ghz processor and I still use it for programming, web browsing (mostly with javascript off), writing, light photo editing in gimp, 2d cad (qCAD and inkscape), and with two batteries I can watch movies for about 11 hours on the plane. It's true that I own other computers for 3d cad and gaming.

I loved that era in laptop design.

The Lifebooks and the VAIOs were both so cool.

Loading was really really slow for some reason. I'm in SF, could that have anything to do with it?

It's very quick on my phone in Australia, so it has to be your PC, lol!
