AI slop

I mean, you're not wrong. I did use AI to run the analysis, and it is some marketing-oriented content that I'm using to learn how to do B2C marketing, since I'm a guy who know how to sell $200K of software engineering services, but hasn't the first clue how to sell 1,000 copies of a free (IAP) app.

So, I don't disagree. The app's worth a look, though, if you're fishing in AK. It's definitely not AI slop. And it's got 25 years of count data in it that you can muck around with.

Completely different things.

C2PA is basically a signature that serves to prove it came from certain source.

It's useful in case you want to prove you got an image from AI model to someone who doesn't believe you.

It's trivially removable and not useful against people trying to pass off generated images as real.

It's a checkbox in the "..." menu. Off by default for some reason.

Yes. Instead of having to figure out the bone angles one by one you can drag eg a finger and the rest will follow as much as constraints allow.

Does it just make it easier to get in a position you want or does it give you more natural looking positions as well or any other benefits? It's pretty fun to play with!

It means that you can lock the end point to a position and figure out the rest of the pose.

Imagine a character walking with forward kinematics. Every time you move the characters hips , you’d have to rotate the leg joints and make sure the foot doesn’t slide. Remember virtual characters don’t have friction.

IK lets you lock the foot in a spot so you can animate the body above it without having to spend time matching the foot position.

In a real world, this is like if you tried to put your hand on a door handle while jumping up and down. It’s easier to keep position when you hold the handle than if you were to just touch it.

It also means you can move the point and the rest of the joints adjust. Want to make your model walk? Just figure out the foot motion and the rest of the details are calculated based on joint range of motion and limb length.

Without some extra solving most full body IK systems won’t give you walking motion. It’ll just be like pulling a doll by its limb or QWOP

You need a proper motion controller on top to actually have realistic walking motion driven by steps.

> too cautious

No, you are perfectly normal.

The people who in one week decided to replace the whole codebase for a widely used tool with code no human has seen are the crazy ones.

I'm disappointed these keep making it to the front page, but clearly most people here have no taste or standards.

How about "Goes with dress, day or flower"?

Ahh yeah, that's interesting thanks. I think the one difference is it's not clear if sun is meant to come before or after the word but maybe that's okay.

I'll think on this and experiment. Thanks

If the order is always the same maybe "goes before" or "goes after" would work too, but I like the ambiguity, and it's more .. I dunno, poetic?

Yea right now I do some clues before and some after.

Goes before/after is a good idea!

> sees significant traffic from xyz.com in the ref query string, and considers advertising

Why? Already getting traffic for free.

You never ran a website for profit, have you? Knowing who is sending you traffic lets you decide whether your marketing is working, where you should write your blog posts to get more views, etc. This has been the way the web works for decades.

Interesting. I'm in EU and see these constantly but usually in the afternoon so it bothers me less as I'm already wrapping up, but my US coworkers are getting hit much worse.

What's with the charts and numbers?

It says #1 for speed but then in the chart it's #2. Also says #10 for intelligence but then it's #7 in the chart.
