just today, MS announced that gpt-5.3-codex will become Copilot’s new base model. It is also the first LTS model that will be supported until 2027.

That's github copilot though, which is different (gh is msft, but here you have the option to choose other models too). Their regular copilot app and the one on windows still uses oai as their base model, which can hurt oai, if they choose to move away from it

i'm confused - did you miss that codex 5.3 is also an openai model?

Can you share the name of your marketplace?

RCRDSHP

And adults as well

Cross-browser testing of web apps would be one use case.

Edge has the same engine as Chrome, so no real reason to test both in most circumstances.

I wouldn't argue with that much when looking at federal government (judicial branch excluded), but state and local governments have been varied in their responses, and most have been far from malice. In Chicago, my local alderman has been reactive to events (including non-covid matters, like storm damage) and informative about public services (especially with testing sites). Helpful and without cynicism.

I believe that national politics gets an undue spotlight, and that local government (in particular) does not receive the attention warranted.

Off topic, but your parenthetical has me curious: Did the Romans of antiquity generally agree on a single pantheon of Gods, or would it be more accurate to say that across the Roman population, there were 25 fertility gods represented?

Would love to hear from a history enthusiast!

The Romans pre Christianity pretty much adopted any God they liked. There people who worshipped gods from the Greek, Egyptian, and many other pantheons as well as weirder sects and cults. With a few exceptions like the Jews, most people didn't see it a contradictions for multiple sets of dieties to exist and influence the world.

Although this has been attempted before and was eventually reversed (as other posters have pointed out), it is probably worth your time to investigate and possibly prototype. It may not be a model that dominates the market, but you might be able to find your niche.

Thank you.

One thing people don't understand is that while Clorox might not want their ads next to a video about guns, they still want their ads to reach me. If 100% of my consumed content involves guns, there is a compromise in some capacity which Clorox is willing to make. The aim of the model is to make it such that this compromise is fair and clearly separates sponsored content and consumed content so that there is no connection between the two. This is accomplished in many ways.

If this is something that interests you, I'm happy to discuss my model in a private setting.

Can you please recommend some sources on this? Sounds interesting.

Sounds like my experience growing up in a rural area. My high school was on the other side of our county, so I was the first person on the bus every morning, 60 minute ride each way.

Kind of off topic, but a fun story: Growing up, we were the last kids off our bus and the ride took an hour. The silly thing was, there was a different bus that drove past our literally five minutes after school got out. Eventually they figured it out and switched the route we were on, but by then we were old enough to not ride the bus most of the time.

For me it was often 90 minutes to get home, but about 30 minutes into the trip we would drive right by my house. Problem was, it was on the other side of the street, and they wouldn't let me cross. This was in middle school, on a street that I crossed by myself all the time.

While on subject of school buses, my driver would not let me cross the street on the way home, so even though I was the first stop, I’d have to wait until we looped all the way around to the end. My stepdad had to scream down their throats and they finally caved, I came home an hour earlier. Talk about the stupidity of that situation!

Just realized I wrote basically the same comment as you. I wish my stepdad had yelled at them! It didn't even occur to me that I could complain.

Oh it didn’t occur to me right away either. This was in middle school and I was not the smartest cookie, so I must have wasted at least 5 trips before the revelation occurred.
