Big tech looking for a scapegoat for their own failings

Equally, reports say that without actively taking CO2 out of the air, we will not meet our climate goals.

I think the only truly carbon negative way of doing that is through plants, possibly including burying them. I don't trust any carbon capture company to be truly negative, there is always too much hand waving with their math.

Yes, I think this is true.

Definitely not

So it is not a fully fledged TMS such as Cargowise from Wisetech, correct?

Today, and for the next few years, we don't anticipate competing directly with Cargowise. We see ourselves as an application that lives on top of Cargowise / CTRMs, etc. That allows a holistic view of operations from a single place.

That is a joke and not different than downloading it from an alternative App Store. Still has to go though Apple notorisation and pay the Apple Tech Fee/tax. No small dev can do that.

Option-Shift-Command-V does the same: Paste and Match Style

And then you go to the hospital to fix your broken fingers from this atrocious key combination

Funny how it feels entirely normal now that's burned into my muscle memory, so much so that I try to use it on Windows boxen, sometimes to weird effect.

Any way to change that to Shift Command V? For some reason the blog post solution doesn't work on Notion.

Remap with Karabiner (https://karabiner-elements.pqrs.org/). I personally mapped right_command + v to it, but it's capable of a straight out remap.

Quite the US centred topic as university costs a fortune here.

Opportunity cost is a factor everywhere, though.

Yes yes yes. Another day, another claim of a revolutionary battery.

I suppose you should do it the other way round: there is a rumour, you see if it is true rather than assuming it is true and try to find evidence if it is true.

What if there's no way to find out if it's true?

Then assume it is true when making security decisions, but don't pretend it is true when talking about it in discussions. (imo.)

Another of those propaganda articles by nuclear lobbyist.
