Or you can just use the hardware the employer is paying for, plus paying you to use...

I unsubscribed from Ali Abdal's youtube channel for this same reason. I have the utmost respect for him and I'm amazed at how well he manages his life. However, i always felt anxious after watching his videos. This video to be exact made me feel like shit and made me decide I should unsubscribe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQSKyvjsUuI

Why do Americans think they represent the world? Your adversary is not our adversary.

> Why do Americans think they represent the world?

I don't claim to.

The context is: US regulators arguing for operational restrictions of a foreign-to-the-US company on the basis of being controlled by an adversary of the US.

If you have any insight from a place with friendly relations with China, you're welcome to share it.

Does America “represent the world”? No.

Does America represent the national security strategy of essentially all of Europe, most non-Chinese nations in Asia, and much of South America?

Absolutely, and to pretend otherwise is to be dreaming.

If you’re not in one of those areas then you are correct that your adversary is not our adversary. But it’s pretty statistically likely you are, and in that case the two are linked.

You’re welcome to return the trillions spent on your defense, of course, and set up your own naval strategy and naval supply chains to defend your trade routes.

Pretty sure the FCC is saying it should be removed from US App stores.

don't use American products and it won't be an issue!

I'm convinced that who ever came up with this valve was inspired by anuses. Its a clever way to dispense honey without making a mess.

Is this safe for work? Because I'm interested, but currently on a work computer.

It looks like a squeezable honey bottle that can prolapse (not what I expected to write on HN today).

...that's not what a prolapse is. A prolapse is when the internal bits get distended, or otherwise protrude through the orifice when it's supposed to be "closed". That hone bottle is working as designed.

Yes it's just the tops of honey bottles

What is this kind of valve called?
