quite cool, but the browser history being messed up drives me bonkers. is that easy to fix?

You should be able to push to history using history.pushState(…) after loading a new page. There are probably more details needed around popState to handle back and forward navigation. I’m sure Claude will be able to assist here, but maybe too much complexity when other similar libraries may also manage history state.

Yes, µJS manages browser history out of the box.

oh, probably not enough contact pressure. resistance is inversely proportional to contact pressure after all.

I am now nerd sniped on the surface physics of connectors. Thanks!

oh, you mean there is a free alternative to crossover? :O

There has been for a long time. It used to be called Wineskin — Sikarugir is the successor to that project. There's also Porting Kit which helps setting up and installing the wrappers.

Underneath it all is Wine which is the open source compatibility layer project which Crossover contributes to.

not in Europe no more for a few years now.

"Europe" isn't a monolith, and there are quite a few countries that don't require any KYC, UK and NL to name two.

You don't need an ID to buy a SIM in UK? I remember not needing one a long time ago but in recent years was asked for one.. maybe not a law? irregularly applied?

It‘s just crazy to me that this guy lives around the corner. That should inspire some hope for me I guess, that even people from Vienna can be successful on such a level.

Let R = {X \notin X}, i.e. all sets that do not contain themselves. Now is R \in R? Well this is the case if and only if R \notin R. But this clearly cannot be.

Like the barber that shaves all men not shaving themselves.

same in Austria. The mountains giveth

Out of curiosity: Where did you migrate to?

Proton. There are some other good alternatives. But since the rest of the family was also using Fastmail, I needed a solution that was user-friendly enough. Besides that, Proton Drive also made it possible to finally move away from our Dropbox Family subscription.

yay, more brainrot =)

Oh my, I have found my soulmate on hacker news <3

Its a threesome! (cringe) Yes, our iPhones really get pounded on and end up with so much street credibility as they look like they were shot with bullets but they keep working.
