This is an extremely dangerous response. The fact that it is at the top is disheartening, especially for this site.
The real problem is treating startup ideas differently than ideas. Ideas are like experiences. They build off of each other and the sum is greater than the parts. Not always in a literal sense either.
The fact of the matter is, the way we arrive at things isn't truly understood. But there are people who propose methodologies that may or may not work for the OP.
Thanks, I have also written the code to do it, too, and it is not very hard - but I'd suggest you sell it to other people who don't know how. There are entire businesses to be built on top of the Referly API and right now we are leaving this particular one to developers to build.
But you are competing with Craigslist. Not to mention the App store has no shortage of classified apps.
Posting to classified sites really isn't that difficult. For some people, sure, but enough to justify a company? The proof is in the marketplace with the lack of traction for Eggdrop, Antengo, and the numerous other apps that claim to make posting items for sale easier.
I would stick to the community aspect. I don't know if there is anything there, but at least it is different then what already exists in the market.
You're missing the point. It's actually written into the American Constitution that the president must be born in America.
I don't think the above comment had anything to do with his capabilities. Merely the practical difficulty in becoming president. (It would require a constitutional amendment.)

A good start would be James Altucher's idea machine: http://www.jamesaltucher.com/2012/10/how-to-become-an-idea-m...
