I'm a huge fan of the "demo project" interview. It really allows me to shine where whiteboard gameshows don't.

I don't need or expect payment, either. If I'm legitimately interested in the company, I am happy to spend a couple of hours showing them my stuff. Hell I'm proud to do it. I do enjoy programming, after all.
