It's why 'autopilot' Teslas drive into the side of semi-trucks and rear-end delivery vans pulled over on the shoulder. And we're not even talking about snowy conditions.



Level 2 systems require the driver to remain alert. I'm not sure how you can generalize from a production level 2 system to a hypothetical level 5 system.


Which makes them nearly useless. If I have to pay attention and take over at a moment's notice... Why am I not driving the car myself?
