The source states the lack of personal charges will keep it from 100% adoption, but imagine a 75% reduction the the amount of gas stations. That will be a pain too, along with increased fuel costs.

Gas stations are already noticing this effect[1]. And as a result, they're pivoting to offering fast charging[2].
