This is the perfect example of the flaws in our immigration system. This man came here for grad school, was educated in America at a public institution (paid for in part by tax dollars), then worked here for years, contributing to our economy as both a worker and consumer (and probably putting in far more tax dollars than he ever consumed), and now after 17 years, we send him back to India.

We should be giving this man citizenship, not a ticket home.
