It works incredibly well—heads and shoulders above the video quality from a webcam, and now that I'm piping video through ffmpeg there's tons of potential to do some weird stuff with filters and swapping to pre-recorded video.

I wish I can take credit for this, Ben Chapman did all the work, I just happened to google it :)

And yeah, 100% agree on video quality, it is so much better than what you get from that potato sensor on MBP
