I would characterize large SV corps as deeply integrated members of the establishment in 2022, whose roles in it are ever growing. However, is it not equally plausible that these companies are activist, and this is an act of activism? And can a company be both, or is that paradoxical?

Of course they should support the society that supported them. I do not see why sv companies should not help western worlds fight against Russian aggression.

They're an extension of western capitalism.

They employ it's citizens, derives it's benefits from it's society and moor their yachts in their harbors.
