Okay, let's stipulate that "Weird Al" knew exactly what he was talking about, so why did he claim "100 gigabytes" which is an impossible number to achieve in one device? (Other than meter scanning) It should have been 128, yes?


"Weird Al" was, in fact, making a song, not a rigorous piece of technical journalism.

"I got me a hundred gigabytes of ram" flows better lyrically in the song than "I got me a hundred-twenty-eight gigabytes of ram".

Whether he knew the details of typical memory module sizes or not, it's such a minor inaccuracy that the lyrical flow matters far more.

Anyway, I bet you could achieve it if you really wanted to try. Get a dell poweredge server with 24 DIMMs, install 12x8GB (96) + 4x1GB (4) for your total of 100, and with 8 DIMMs leftover.
