Good grief. The word "Corsair" in English means Pirate (or at least: Pirate Ship), but the word "corsario" in Spanish apparently means privateer.
Apparently this "Pirate vs Privateer" issue turns into a fundamental linguistic issue depending on what side you were on in the 1500s age of sail.

I'm amused that Captain translates into Vice Admiral.
Francis Drake actually was an English Vice Admiral. The Spanish wikipedia is just more precise than the English one which merely calls him a naval officer.
