Firefox Android has been awful for a while now. You cant sideload extesions on Android for at least two years now, with the only workaround being use an older Firefox:

then they close the issue and move to bugzilla:

This has nothing to do with the XUL addons discussed in the article.


But you can run Firefox Nightly and use a custom extensions list. This is how I have all my regular extensions running great on Android.


that requires registration on AMO. I should not have to do that to install an extension that I WROTE
