Ask HN: A good place to discuss AI papers
3 points by ttul on July 15, 2023 | hide | past | favorite | 3 comments
I took Jeremy Howard’s second ML course [1] and one of the things I miss from that experience was having a forum in which to discuss all the new AI papers. There are blogs where people review papers and I know Twitter is used for discussion, but is there an ever better place for armchair AI practitioners to review and discuss papers?

Discord? (https://discord.gg/nhtbsf2Q)

Reddit (r/machinelearning)?

here?

twitter?

Yeah. Lots of good ML paper discussion is, unfortunately, now siloed away in small Discords, or hidden within Twitter.

GitHub PRs/Issues where devs implement and discuss the paper are really awesome.

Could you link two or three examples of this that you've seen and liked?
