That aside, she spent a lot of the letter saying the therapist shamed her by suggesting ways to make the most of her health insurance without copays. She interpreted this as an attempt to shame her financial situation...

I've had doctors mention stuff like this to me before and I've never taken it as an insult. I appreciated the empathy for my having to deal with insurance. Am I weird for thinking this is not offensive at all?
