Ask HN: Does anyone want an alternative to Docsend?

For the last 4-6 weeks I've been sending out pitch decks as part of our fundraising process.

I'm actually a big fan of decks in general.

- Great way to test an idea/narrative and get feedback - Faster to setup and share than a landing page - You can personalize them for each recipient

Every founder I spoke with told me to use Docsend. The technology behind Docsend seems simple: a wrapper using UTM tags.

What I didn't like about it: - Quick upsell to higher pricing plans after little usage - Analytics limited to open rates and duration (missing session replays, or anything to help with more in depth review)

Curious if anyone here used Docsend in the past for specific use cases and felt the service lacking? What annoyed you most, have you tried any alternatives?

It seems most tools are built around contract management. I'm thinking of perhaps building something for the use case of presentation/story telling. Would anyone be interested?
