Nope, I don't have email on my phone. This breaks magic links all the time for me. In many situations I wouldn't even be able to configure my phone to show me my email, because I don't know the password, it's in my password manager and is lke 52 random characters.

I think it's interesting that the author has chosen to not have email on PCs, but I can see why. I also completely get why they'd opt to not have private email on a work laptop.


I don't have my home email on work devices. I also don't have my email on my gaming PC (I agree this must be rarer). I don't have all of my work emails on my personal devices either. So now when I log in I need to DM myself links over Slack, or forward emails around...


Just because you make exceptions doesn't mean everyone else does
