Don't buy a new computer when Support for Windows 10 ends on Oct 14 (endof10.org)

I have a 2017 laptop with Windows 10 and I am thinking of installing Windows, but I can’t decide between Mint and openSuse. Anyway, I have until October to decide.

Both are good options! As is Ubuntu. You could make a Ventoy usb drive, and put all distros on it and spend some time in the life environments of each. This will leave your Win10 install intact and give you a feel for what you like. You can even install packages in the life environments.

I meant I am thinking of installing Linux.

Was clear from the context ;)
