Database drivers, crypto etc im always "installing", but for 97% of other stuff i tend to roll my own. And when i dont want to reinvent the wheel, i take time to vet the depency.

How many LOC?

Does it has deps of its own?

Is it a maintained library?

Can i fork/fix bugs?
