The blog post mentions Lisp, but it should be pointed out that what they're using in that course is Scheme, which should not be confused with Common Lisp.


Both Scheme and Common Lisp are dialects of Lisp.


Which means little. Scheme and CL have been going in very different directions pretty much since the beginning. Idiomatic Scheme code and idiomatic CL code are very different.


Good point. OP just followed the style used by Sussman and Abelson which use Lisp and Scheme interchangeably.
