In my opinion it isn't.


Yeah, art, IMHO, is all about context. In some cases, the actual piece of art, or perceived quality, is irrelevant.

Cave paintings can be said to be rubbish art. Any one going to claim they have no relevance or value?

With out context, to me, art is just a picture.
